Bathrooms

When you are considering renovating your bathroom, the first thing you want to take a look at its size. Do you have enough space in your bathroom? Sometimes it is not that difficult to add extra space to a bathroom or build a bigger shower. Expansion can be built into the bathroom from free space behind walls, building into existing closets, or extending into another room. Also sometimes just changing the layout of your bathroom will free up wasted space. Some popular options you could add to your bathroom are a stand up shower, steam shower, Jacuzzi tub, tile flooring, granite & marble flooring, granite & marble vanity tops, new toilet, new sink, new faucet, etc. Many older built homes used materials like drywall and plywood as a base for tile on floors and walls. These materials will rot and mildew if water seeps through cracks in grout, tile, and caulk. Waterproof cement based backer board is now used as a base for tile walls and floors. Cement board is resistant to humidity and water so it will not mildew or deteriorate over the long term. Make sure to improve your bathroom with products that will give you a long lasting investment.
